Pretty much it takes a certain level of emotional arousal to hit limit lifts at 300kg+ (or even less). Olympic lifts require more finnese, cant really lose your mind before it, you'll probably miss.
I can appreciate the "ruckus" if its actually a big lift for the guy.... don't see why anyone would mind. If you're doing it on a 50% bicep curl... kinda weird, but a PR deadlift, go for it. I'll even join in and make it more rowdy.
