Failing first year

Ive had some financial problems resulting in me working and skipping a lot of workshops and seminars. There might be a good chance i will fail a module. If i fail a module does this mean i fail the year? And if i fail the first year will this mean i will be kicked out?

not likely if it is only one failed module, if you fail a module most university's give you at least one resit in a failed component (e.g. exam or coursework) but this will be capped to 40%
