I have been looking at this postgraduate degree (clinical psychology) and I am wondering what you guys think about the entry requirements? Can I get in with a 2:1 undergraduate psychology degree with experience or do I need a 2:1 postgraduate psychology degree with experience?

You need a 1st or strong 2.1 at undergraduate level, and at least a years experience (the average is 2 years)

It is extremely competitive and takes a long time to qualify
Ok thanks, after I do the postgraduate degree I wont be a clinical psychologist will I? I have to apply to the health and care professionals council ?

No, you'll be a trainee clinical psychologist while undertaking the Doctorate, following which you will be qualified as a clinical psychologist

No problem, good luck
If you're interested in qualifying as a Clinical Psychologist then you'll need to check out this website:
https://www.leeds.ac.uk/chpccp/

If you're an overseas student, you may have to apply to the university directly.

Applying through this website is the ONLY way to get onto a DClinPsy course in the UK (The Irish courses may be different, but it'll tell you there). That will tell you everything you need to know. For every other question, this forum has all the answers:

A DClinPsy will provide you will all the training and qualifications you need to register and practice as a Clinical Psychologist.

I think you should be able to. Double check with them though so email them and say whether a 2.1 would be competitive enough to apply with
