Front Squat
50kg 5x5

Clean pull:
40kg 2x3 (full C&J on 3rd rep)
50kg 2x3 (full C&J on 3rd rep)
70kg 2x3
90kg 2x3

Accessories: bar work for snatch/jerk, curls, GHD

Bench:
50kg 5x5

Did dips before because the gym was busy and I didn't think I'd get a rack. But I did. They really took a lot of energy out of me ngl so 50kg felt heavy (was also fasting)

Overhead press:
30kg 3x8 (actually failed the very last rep cos I paused at the bottom and then it was gg)

Haven't done these in ages, usually do Push press and then 1 strict set at the end. Shoulders are burnt

Dips: 3x6, 1x4 BW

Back Squat:
60kg 3x8

First set was super hard, last one was super easy

Deadlift:
100kg 6x2
120kg x2

Hard, probs due to fasting and high volume squats right before. Really need to get some straps

C&J
40kg 4x1
50kg 4x1

Surprisingly snappy

Accessories: lat pulldown/bicep curls

Back Squat:
70kg x3
80kg x3
90kg x1
90kg x1

All felt heavy. As long as I can do 90-95% of my 1rm for a single and 80-85% for a triple throughout the cut I'll be happy. I've lost ~3.2kg (mostly water weight) so far, looking to get down to 72-73kg (from 79kg(!!))

Clean pull:
70kg 3x5
90kg 2x2

Used straps for the first time, made it easier to focus on staying over the bar during the pull

Snatch pull:
40kg 5x5 (3 from floor 2 from hang)

Tis getting there

Accessories: getting some great advice about PhDs and internships from a guy I was working in with. Networking and that init

Forgot to mention (didn't realise at the time) that its the last session at uni gym for a long time. I will miss my dear Werksan barbells and plates :frown:

Felt really good, esp the heavier sets

Deadlift:
100kg 3x3

Not so great, I'm not very good at using straps yet lol

RDL:
60kg 3x5

Haven't done these in years cos they used to really screw with my hip, but they felt alright today

RDL are the nuts bro, prefer them over regular deadlifts.

Yeah I'm gunna start doing them wayy more now, and my London gym now has a GHD machine too. I will have spinal erectors and hams of peace

See if they have a reverse hyperextension machine too. GOAT. GHR's are well hard though

Felt good.

Snatch highpull (3 from floor 1 hang)
40kg 7x(3+1)

Can now highpull from the floor (with super wide grip), good progress. Need to redevelop my snatch balance now

45kg fail (3x push press)
35kg x8
20kg x14 paused

Bad idea to OHP on bench day, no way should I have not got 45kg for at least 3.

Accessories: bicep curls, lat pulldowns

Lool there's guys here (on the fitness blog forum) who bang 100kg+ for reps

You should look into making a blog if you're serious about lifting, its not a bad place to get advice. Reddit is good too...gotta maximise them beginner gainz
