Emergency Medicine Dual CCT

Hi, I've just applied to medicine and I was wondering whether you could pursue dual training in both anaesthetics and emergency medicine? I know speciality training is a very long way in the future and things may change, but I've always wanted to work in emergency medicine but i've also wanted to work in anaesthetics too and I can't seem to find information on doing dual training. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Unlikely. Each training route is highly specialised and it's not like one naturally leads to or encompasses the other. Get into med school first. Finish it and work out what working in medicine is really like and go from there. Things may also change between now and when you're ready for specialty training as it;s easily a good 7-10 years away!
