Opinions on long-distance relationships?

Curious to hear your thoughts...

I mean relationships where you decide to be in a relationship with someone you met online. That sort of thing.

Long distance relationships where you initially met in real life and meet every now and then are fine.

Long distance relationships that are exclusively online only, are a waste of time and stupid. I don't see how you can date someone without having met yet. Sounds like some TSR romance thing.

My last relationship was long distance. My opinion is that is can work for some people and others it can't. If you're planning on getting into one, think first. Are you sure you'll be able to handle the distance? If not then you might want to reconsider. That's just my advice.
