Why are men aggressive?

Men seem aggressive whenever they are joking around with each other or playing video games, football etc. Let alone when they are mad or when (Some men) raping someone.

When I was, around 4-12, I used to beat guys easily, they were just WEAK. They even used to cry but that changed out of nowhere and they became aggressive, big and strong (and fast).

When I play with my brothers there isn't a time when I dont feel pain. They just cant be gentle. They say they are gentle and not even doing anything to hurt me but they ARE.

At school, when I was young I used to like playing soccer with guys but now, I don't like it because all those guys are taller than me and bigger. whenever I play with them, I end up being concerned/ afraid of them mistakenly shooting the ball at me.

Why are men aggressive?

I am sorry if I offended you. I just want to know.

testosterone?

testosterone?

Very misleading. Testosterone is a modulatory hormone. If you have a society where violence has been ingrained into people and is rewarded and the top ranking people are violent, then increased testosterone levels in will increase violence. If you live in an environment that trains in and values other things then testosterone will increase those things.

I was thinking the exact same thing
Its funny because my boyfriend looks like an actual god (tall, muscles, big everything, beautiful face) yet he doesn't try and act aggressive at all. He is really strong but he never acts strong because its clear he is just by looking at him so his masculinity isn't fragile like many.

There are agressive females. Just the way males are built, being more physical - more power, more room for abuse - it’s more noticible. The aggressive males make themselves stand out from the crowd, just like a blabbering idiot does, and the big majority isn’t noticed. So, not all are such

because men are men...

Testosterone plays a key role here too.

As a guy i experienced, I get more aggressive if i have more testosterone in my body, that's if i avoid watching porn or ejaculating or having sex for weeks.

its just nature, men are built to be protectors and hunters.

A guy like that can be only one of these

1) Alpha Male (they are rare commodities in this day and age, especially with so many entertainment industries and barriers to becoming true to oneself.) An alpha male is a lifestyle, not a trait.
2) A little wimp (that makes up for his masculinity through his muscles, like bodybuilding).

You would know which one he would be

Have a great life,,,.,,,, Peace

Nothing stronger than true gentleness, nothing gentler than true strength.

I agree with this. He doesn't even need to try and "act" manly. I've never meant so much of a man before. I find it so attractive because hes so gentle but so physically strong and he looks after me so well.

Large areas that are not Psychology, and are instead in biology. I'll dig some stuff out if you are interested.

Not sure which bit it is you are wanting to query, fairly widely accepted that testosterone is a modulatory hormone, if you are querying that that's fairly basic biology.

The question here is a complex one in the sense of what do we mean by aggression? That is very entwined in a number of other things.

What we mean here by 'aggression' is being so in the wrong context.
