How to get a first girlfriend or first kiss

I am 18 and have never even kissed. I know there are a lot of threads asking if it's normal. But I am not asking if it's "normal" or "okay". I am asking how to get a first girlfriend or just a first kiss. I actually feel sad every night now knowing that I am so inexperienced at 18. Especially since everyone else I know got their first kisses at 14/15.

I don't really care for a "special" first girlfriend or kiss anymore. I just want to have at least my first kiss. That way I could think to myself that I have kissed a girl instead of feeling sad every night. I would kiss any girl if she is willing...well unless she isn't really unattractive.

PS. I am on a gap year. So can't meet girls at uni until next year :s-smilie:

None of my friends are the clubbing type. Neither am I. I would gladly go if they're willing. But they aren't. I would feel very uncomfortable being by myself

Yes I do know some girls. They are either taken, or I am friend zoned. Trust me I have tried :s-smilie:

Find a girl, talk to her for so long that you will hit a point, she will either like you back or not like you. Keep doing this until they like you back.

That is where I am kind of stuck. Where do I meet girls? How would they feel if a random guy who they have never seen just approached them? I don't know what to do.

Just go out and keep talking to random girls. On the street, in bars, in shops, in the library it really doesn't matter. You'll gain confidence talking to girls and the more you talk to the more you likely to find one you click with and is willing to go out with you.

Yep.. going it alone wouldn't be a good idea for you. Keep your options open thought and If you know any people that are going then you should definitely join them... although you would need to more confident to get with a girl in a club anyway.

DO they know about your situation? If they don't then they may be willing to volunteer themselves as guinea pigs? It could happen! :dontknow:

I think the main thing is just not to worry about it. Take your time and it will happen.

if it's just as kiss you're after I suppose you could try hitting some clubs or whatever. or getting a job and meeting new people there.
