Dropping half award in 2nd year... FUNDING?
My original course was 3 years. I failed my second year and did my second attempt this year, though I 'm getting better marks than last time. I've decided that one half of my award isn't where I want to go in the future. So I've decided to drop one half and take on the other half as a full award.
I was informed that it'd take me an additional 2 years if I pass this year.
Now here comes the million dollar question.
Student finance guarantees your degree long funding plus 1 extra year. So that would be my 3 years plus the 1 year to come. But my course is now 1 extra year longer beyond what they guarantee...
Will I still be able to get funding for the year AFTER that?
I was informed that it'd take me an additional 2 years if I pass this year.

If you mean 5 years to do a 3 year course then I doubt it.
