Understanding an Offer

Hey all,

Just got my first offer from one of my Universities I've applied to, but as always either its a bit vague or I'm just too dumb, but could someone explain to me when they say...

"This offer is subject to your obtaining A minimum of 180 UCAS Tariff points from at least 2 GCE A levels or AVCEs"

Does that mean you can get say 160 from an AVCE and some AS's, or does the 180 have to come from the 2 Alevels or AVCE only

its means you must get 180 from a "minimum" of 2 full A-levels or 2 full AVCE's (or 1 full Alevel and 1 full AVCE), then the rest of the points can come from AS levels or any other minor qualifications

180 points would be a B and a C (100 points for the B and 80 for the C) or you make it up from 3 A Levels with fewer points in each. Congrats by the way! :smile:

Thanks, I kind of guessed that but I'm getting a bit excited now with the light at the end of the tunnel getting closer, just didn't want to misunderstand it
