Chances of an offer?

Hi,

I'm hoping to study Sport journalism next year and wondered what everyone thought my chances of an offer were. I'm a real pessimist and worrier.

The uni's I'm looking at are:-

Southampton Solent = 240 ucas
Bedfordshire = 200
UCA Farnham = 240
MarJon Plymouth = 240
Sunderland = 260

I'm predicted a DMM overall in my. Btec.

Any feed back would be great.

I don't know about those uni's for this particular course but overall I wouldn't rank them as top universities. Therefore judging by the UCAS point requirement, you will get offers from most if not all of these university. It somewhat depends on when you sent off your UCAS application as well.

I spent a year in the British Army before deciding I wanted another career. I did well whilst I was in including being section commander on out exercises and didn't leave on any bad terms whatsoever. Do you think this will work in my favour?

No-one here can give you any guarantees about what any of these places will decide or what they are looking for in applicants.

Like everyone else applying to UCAS, you'll just have to be patient and wait for the decisions.
