Duke of Edinburgh Dilemma

I am doing my Duke of Edinburgh Gold award, but my practice clashes with my Prom. Is there anyway I could go on the bronze expedition and use it as my practice? (The silver expedition clashes with my internship :/ )

No, I don't think so, as the bronze expedition will be only two days (perhaps 3 if your school/centre is mean) so that is not long enough to count as a proper practice, also the terrain and height climbed etc will probably not be "difficult" enough for a gold practice expedition.
It's probably best to talk to whoever is supervising/co-ordinating your DofE to see what they suggest. Maybe you could do your practice with a different group or something?
