I'd suggest you looked for apprenticeships e.g http://www.notgoingtouni.co.uk/sector/it

They might give you more motivation and smaller debts

I think that could be the best option for you.

Thank you Suedonim, I'll be looking on there and applying for apprenticeships in the mean time. I could always attend Uni later on in my life, right? (Such as after an apprenticeship?)
There are quite a few courses you could do I know my uni does a computer game programming and computer games design courses it's not a Russel group but the class sizes are small and the lectures really help here are the links if your interested

Those might be of interest to you.
hey

I was in the same situation it took me 10 years to decide what to do and then I went to Uni 3 years ago took me ages as I had bad grades but I went on an access course which structured my learning and day to day stuff, could you not try that an access course in computer science I know you already know it but it may challenge what you want to do, rather than constantly worrying about grades and that.

Try an access course in computer programming or a foundation degree at a uni which would be funded by your student loan anyway as they funded mine for 4 years, and if you decide to change, you have a foundation or access course to back you up
