Whenever anyone asks this question, there are always dire threats about what a disaster it will be if you do it. There are plenty of anecdotal reports of people who were really sorry they had it done. But we all know just how reliable anecdotal evidence is. Somewhere between 37% and 39% of males worldwide are circumcised. If the trolls were even remotely accurate, the problems for such a huge percentage of men on the planet would be well-known and definitively reported. Many thousands have had it done in adulthood, Of course there are risks, but the medical evidence of these risks has been exaggerated in this thread. All I can say is, do your own research--don't let trolls do it for you, for heaven's sake! Here are a few good places to start: (1) Even across cultures, "In the overwhelming majority of studies, women expressed a preference for the circumcised penis," ("Sex and Male Circumcision: Women's Preferences Across Different Cultures and Countries: A Systematic Review," Sexual Medicine 2019 Jun;7(2):145-161. doi: 10.1016/j.esxm.2019.03.003. Epub 2019 Apr 25. (2) "The consensus of the highest quality literature is that MC [Male Circumcision] has minimal or no adverse effect, and in some studies, it has benefits on sexual functions, sensation, satisfaction, and pleasure for males circumcised neonatally or in adulthood" (“The Contrasting Evidence Concerning the Effect of Male Circumcision on Sexual Function, Sensation, and Pleasure: A Systematic Review” (Sexual Medicine 8, 577-598, 2020). (3) Circumcised men engage in more frequent sex acts and more different kinds of sex acts than their uncircumcised peers: "NHSLS data indicate that circumcised men engage in a somewhat more elaborated set of sexual practices than do men who are not circumcised. For each of the practices examined, lifetime experience of various forms of oral and anal sex and masturbation frequency in the past year, circumcised men engaged in these behaviors at greater rates. The difference between circumcised men was greatest for masturbation - ironically, a practice that circumcision was once thought to limit. A total of 47% of circumcised men reported masturbating at least once a month vs 34% for their uncircumcised peers" ("Circumcision in the United States: Prevalence, Prophylactic Effects, and Sexual Practice" (Journal of the American Medical Association, Volume 277, Number 13: Pages 1052-1057, April 2, 1997).
Now really, if circumcision was such a disaster and such a terrible thing to have done to a man, why would any of these things be true? As the saying has been lately about Covid, "Follow the science" (and not the trolls!).
