EPQ History title

Hi, I'm doing the EPQ (with AQA) and I know I want my question to be on the Borgias, specifically Lucrezia Borgia (and her relations with father, brothers etc) but I don't really know how to go about coming up with a title...I've read biographies of Lucrezia and it's a topic I'm really interested in but have never studied at school. Could someone help me as to what sort of question I could do?
Thank you

I did an epq last year and it took me forever to come up with a title. It all depends on what you want to focus on related to Lucrezia Borgia. I only studied her briefly as part of my AS history course, but one possibility could be exploring whether the rumours of their illicit parties were factually accurate or simply just that, a rumour? Or perhaps, as many historians argue they are first embodiment of the ruthless machiavellian politics that government renaissance italy.
If my memory serves me correctly there is little known about specifically Lucrezia, so maybe a broader focus on the renaissance papacy or a select few of Borgias may be easier?

Hope this helps!

Thank you so much! it really helped  I think I'm going to do "'The Borgia family of Renaissance Italy has become a byword for pride, lust, cruelty, avarice, splendour and venomous intrigue.' (Hollingsworth). To what extent is this reputation deserved?". Is that an appropriate title? I couldn't find any example history EPQ titles so I'm not quite sure how they're structured :s-smilie:

thank you again
Yeah that sounds fab! You can really do a lot with that! Good luck with it!
