I don’t think it’s odd at all. I would love to be read stories by someone I care for deeply. For me it makes me feel safe at night. A lot of times, despite being 19, my dreams correlate with how my night ended. I tend to have a lot of nights that I will have nightmares, and the thought of someone reading to me right before bed makes me feel like it’s less likely to happen. It makes me feel safe and comfortable when I’m going to bed....
