Here in Hong Kong many people have live-in maids but there are also ones that come in and clean occasionally

I have a girlfriend and I have told her straight if we ever move in together that would be her duties.
Luckily she knows I am just kidding and goes along with it. People need to stop getting anal about it.
Very few people in the UK have a full-time live-in maid/servant. Many many more have a cleaner who comes in maybe once a week. I definitely plan on hiring one once we've moved into our new flat.

It's not whether I can afford one or not, it's do I need one and the answer is no, I'm quite capable of cleaning up my own house thank you.
Maybe a really fit naked male maid, with just a bow tie on! LOL that would drive me insane. Probably end up jumping on in and ......................

We had a really good maid when I lived in kenya.
We had about 10 before her and none of them lasted more than a week. One was caught trying to steal my clothes :/

I wouldn't want a maid in my house full time, but I would love for someone to come in for a couple of hours every week just to clean everything.
