what to say when handing in a CV?

My friend works in a sports clothes shop and said that they are taking on and I should give my Cv in. I'll go in and ask for the manager but how should I introduce myself and what isthe best way to go about it?

Also should i put my CV in an enenvelope or plastic wallet or just as it is?

I would put your CV in a plastic wallet so it looks smart and is protected from water, getting scruffy e.t.c

I would introduce yourself to the manager in a friendly way and say something like 'I'm really interested in working at the store may I give you a copy of my CV for future reference' or perhaps more informally :smile:
