Where to live in Second Year? Help!

I have two options, please help me!

Option 1 - stay in my current halls, where a lot of second and third years stay. It's five minutes from uni and my flatmate is also staying here. The only thing is that it can get pretty lonely here as it is quiet, my flatmates also never go out clubbing as they don't enjoy it.

Option 2 - stay with two girls from my course, who are lovely but I don't know them that well as they do different modules. The house is 25 minutes from uni, and I'm not sure if they enjoy going out either much as they are both international and quiet. But, it will be less lonely as we chat quite a lot.

Please help, anyone! :confused:

Personally, I would choose option one - staying in the halls as it is five minutes from the university, but would try to make friends out of the halls, perhaps societies or lectures or whatever. But if you think the loneliness and quiet would be too much, and you want to try living with those two girls, if you think you would not mind the twenty-five minute commute.
