Take care!
My favourite that we do in class is for when someone grabs you with two hands round the neck, you do a deep step back which pulls them off their balance, one of your palms is pushing down on one of their wrists, the other arm swings through their arms as you step back. your are then in a fantastic elbow to face position, and it is sooo quick :h:

If you want to get serious when it comes to self defence, ignore any kind of organised martial arts system like Judo/Karate. These are great for teaching you how to fight against the discipline, but useless against a stronger/drunk opponent when it comes to reality.

Don't fool yourself into thinking you will always attacked in such a uniform fashion. If someone wants to do you harm, then they won't be grabbing you, they will be punching you to the floor.

The best advice any serious proponent of self defence can give you, is knowing how to avoid confrontation or the risk of it altogether.

That's all grasshopper.
