So I Missed An Exam....

Had an A Level Media Studies exam last week, completely got the date mixed up and on top of that I was ill (having many rough nights has not helped my memory or chest infection).

Do you think a Doctor's Note is enough??

Really need this results to have a place in my chosen University.

Or has anyone else been I this situation before?
A Doctor's note and cover letter is necessary. I would get hold of your Examination Officer or failing that your exam board. They might be understanding yet they could still say that it is your fault.

Give them a ring and see if they're willing to do anything because illness isn't something that should be penalised.

Not really. If you had been too ill to take the exam you (or a parent) needs to talk to the school beforehand - turning up after the event saying you had a chest infection (not a good enough reason to miss an exam anyway) is unlikely to be sufficient.
