Gym date should I be worried?

So the girlfriend says she has a "gym date" and states with a friend. Maybe this is a terminology issue, but should I be worried?

When I say anything similar in relation to the gym, just basically means I have plans to go to the gym. Usually on my own, but sometimes with someone else. Taking someone on a romantic date to a gym is insane.
