Student Bank Accounts

I am still in the process of doing my student finance application and I am at the stage where I am required to add a bank account to my application.
I am planning on opening a student account with Santander to get my loan payed in to but I can only get one of these accounts when I have an unconditional offer accepted for my university which won't be until results day.
Should I put my normal Halifax bank account in now or should I wait until I get my unconditional offer and get a student account?

Wait for the ucas email to accept your choice which will be called "confirmation letter" take this to the bank with the other stuff.

Thanks but I mean when applying for student finance you need to put an account down which they will pay in to. Would it be better for me to put my normal account in now just to continue the process or should I wait until I can put my student account in?
