Worried about results!?!??!

Hi, I just got my results GCSE.

I am wanting to become an airline pilot when I am older but the needed qualifications are 8 GCSE's grade C-A*

Here are my Grades:

A* - BUSINESS
A - LEISURE AND TOURISM, CATERING AND ICT
B - DOUBLE SCIENCE, GEOGRAPHY, MATHS, ENGLISH

I should mention that my dad passed away in the process of my exams, but that probably isn't very relevant to the employer.

Will these grades be okay? I am freaking out :frown:

First of all, my condolences on your loss. I lost my best friend just before Year 10 so I can empathise with how difficult it is. And congratulations for such high results despite it.

Answering your question, though - those grades are definitely good enough, I would think. Especially high considering your circumstances - and I'm assuming you're going to Sixth Form, in which by then employers care more about your A Level grades and work experience, but your GCSEs are still nothing to turn away from.
