does underwear choice affect pregancy

i was wondering this question the other day when me and my boyfriend were talking about babies. i suppose at 30 its not far around the ****ing corner. my boyfriend wears pants or tighty whities as they are called but they are not white but coloured, but there was an article in a newspaper saying that type of underwear can lower a mans sperm count, so affecting pregancy, but i was wondering is there any solid evidence for it like scientific research. i would hate when the time comes to like ask my boyfriend to switch underwear type

There are a gazilion and one reports and studies about fertility. No doubt some are credible but most are not much than old wives tails. Getting pregnant can be hard enough without fretting about underwear. Just go for it!
