Hey I’m a recently turned 19 year old girl. I have been in your spot before and I’m still currently trying to learn how to orgasm too. I have been aroused very rarely at times though that I was unable to do anything about it such as when I was at a camp sleeping in the cabin and it was really hot and I woke up horny. It could have been possibly being sticky and sweaty. I think that masturbating successfully may have to do with getting yourself lubricated enough if you’re able to acquire it, checking for any infections (even though you’re a virgin you can still end up with infections if you don’t wash what you use or other simple causes) or just looking for ways to be aroused. I like to relate it to drinking, you shouldn’t drink if you’re sad or it only gets worse. Also vibrators, shower heads, (don’t use electric toothbrushes), in my opinion are a good idea but works best if you’re aroused. Also if you feel paranoid that someone else is around or listening that could also possibly be a factor to not being able to masturbate comfortably.
