How much does it cost to live a decent life in London?

I am going to study at the university in London this September. Currently, I am searching for the accommodation and planing a budget. Apart from the accommodation which will be paid by my sponsor, I wonder whether it is possible to live a decent life with £30 a day in London.

So that's £210 a week giving you £840 a month...
hmm so you're not paying rent so that's a big factor of your costs gone..I'd say it'll be tight but doable...
You'll need to pay for travel/food/bills (maybe depends if your sponsor is paying)/course books/going out

But it also depends how much your sponsor is prepared to spend, it'll get more expensive for them the closer to central you go

£30 a day is a lot but it depends on what you're budgeting for. I don't spend any money on a day to day basis as I make lunches at home and have a travel card. Accommodation and travel are your biggest costs so you should be fine.
