Driving

Hi I passed my driving test first time on the 7 of December after taking a crash course I got a car 2 days later and was fine driving until the engine went and was in the garage for 9 weeks I got it out this week and it was going ok then today I went ikea and went to park and I was meant to reverse but didn't put it in reverse lefted it in drive and went right into a metal pole and smashed my bumper and my light it's scared the life out of me I have put my car in garage and it's out Tuesday but I'm scared to drive it again I have never crashed before on the road or run a red light or put any on in danger can anyone help

I'd knock this down to the fact that you didnt gain enough experience, clearly enough to pass but you still don't feel fully comfortable driving solo. Just keep going, if you become scared of driving now it'll bite you in the ass because you'll never get over it.
