You can see the tears. The tears of pain and disgust
I don't think another image could represent myself any better than this. Terrified of what's to come, as my future will be dictated by a single envelope and piece of paper, laughing as when you've run out of tears what else can you do, other than awkwardly laugh. Clinging on to something, perhaps years ago when times were simplier, or just a month ago when my ultimatum was still impending, but it felt like I had a long time to adjust. Filled with raw emotion, unable to suppress it, or surpass it, stuck in the inbetween.
