Hello,

So recently I've decided I want to enrich my understanding of Africa to help me in my studies. Could somebody with a comprehensive understanding of the continent perhaps recommend literature or a step-by-step guide to learning the continent because currently it's a bit overwhelming and I don't know where to start. Just to clarify, I'm interested in the period ranging from European colonisation onwards, and wish to learn at an undergraduate/postgraduate level.
