I got into my uni through adjustment so I had to apply for accommodation late which meant they might not be able to find a perfect match for me, if anything at all. I described myself as an introvert and non-drinker, but I've arrived and my flatmates couldn't be more different to me. They had pre drinks in our kitchen and it sounded like there were about 20+ people in there, loud music playing, and shouting. I'm really upset about this as I know I won't be able to get along with them if they go out clubbing every night and become close, when I'm not into that kind of stuff. I find it difficult to make friends in general so idk what to do :'( I don't want them to hate me, I feel awkward going into the kitchen to cook when there's people drinking in there and I don't drink at all

Sounds a lot like me atm. There's a lot of people in my flat partying and I'm currently sat alone in my room on TSR  I just let them get on with it. As long as they don't disturb me by knocking on my door and getting me to do things I don't care. I'm not one for socialising.
Agree with what @qam says, but you could always stay and drink something non-alcoholic with them (OJ? ginger beer?) That way you won't be drinking, but you will be showing your face and being sociable. Once your course starts and clubs & societies get going, there will also be other opportunities for you to meet people.

YEAAAHHH... I just made friends with one of my housemates right now and she asked me if I wanna come out with them and I said no cause I don't like socialising  Mayne our kitchen is already full of drinks and s***.
Da***? I only moved in today so I haven't witnessed much yet but I've already seen enough
Ffs mayne 😂😂 I wouldn't be surprised if that happened here tbh. I As I was walking back into my accommodation around an hour ago there was a bunch of students stood outside socialising and acting like f**kboys.
