One of my friends was writing on Facebook about someone who was recently in our Maths class. He failed his recent test and was forced to leave.
She wrote 'xxxxxx didn't make the cut!', regarding his failre of a Maths mock that forced him to drop out of the class.
Does this (the explanation mark) sound like that she was happy that he failed?
