Lads Holiday but not Zante, Magaluf, Ibiza

Me and my pals are looking to go on holiday in September, but not a completely typical sleep all day, party all night lads holidays. We've been Zante twice before so we're looking for somewhere a bit more mellow.

We're considering Tenerife as we've heard it's got decent hotels, daytime activities and restaurants etc in walking distance and the opportunity for a decent night out not far away should we fancy it. Any other destination suggestions? Somewhere with okay hotels for under £400pp (self-catered although we wouldn't rule out other boards for slightly more) and with temperatures still above 20 degrees celsius. Or any hotel suggestions in Tenerife?
