Where can I get the relevant work experience?
You have to get voluntary experience to get experience.
Flow might be something like
retail job --> oxfam shop --> mentoring in schools --> mencap --> self help groups --> research assistant --> support worker --> voluntary AP --> AP --> PWP etc.
