Its Anglo and Saxon at the same time :biggrin:

The heads of the church were the Archbishops of York and Canterbury who were the most important. They were followed by 15 bishops who were in charge of a diocese.
The church were very rich and powerful, owning 25% of the land in England. They were given tithes (10% of everyone's goods).
