Or how long after it do you actually start your course? Does the induction day mean you have enrolled? Do you get your student ID and timetable?

For me, my induction week I get my ID and learn about the course, pick optional modules etc. For others they do actually start lectures during induction week.

I have just had a week where I enrolled and picked up student card then attended some intro lectures on general stuff and IT systems and the library. We got our timetables week before.
Actual lectures start next week.
So depends on uni and course.
