A vegan dating a non-vegan

Can these relationships work? I'm vegan but would find it very hard to date a non-vegan unless they were open to the idea of veganism.

It will be as difficult as a religious person marrying a non religious person. There’s plenty of challenges already.

Yes, so long as neither party wants to impose their beliefs and each accepts the other's freedom to choose what they eat, wear and spend their money on.
Paul McCartney's current wife eats meat, while he is a committed vegan.

Yup, I'm vegan and in a relationship with someone who eats meat and it doesn't cause issues. I personally don't care what other people do and don't want to eat, I know what I do and don't want to eat and that's all there is to it. My boyfriend is good too, we go to vegan cafes etc and he likes vegan alternatives for lots of things. So in short it works if both people are respectful of each other's habits :smile:
