Hi there, I'm a biosci undergraduate. Be aware that all the biological sciences are completely flexible, for example I could choose to graduate with Biomedical or Biological Sciences or Biochemistry. For this reason the Bioscience courses are very general - which is good in one respect as it gives you flexibility to keep with subjects you like from the more general biology research area but bad in another as it may mean you lack knowledge needed to go into certain areas - for example I think you would struggle to get your degree accredited by the IBMS and would need lots of top up courses to be able to work within the NHS (I think). If you're planning on going into academia or industry I don't think it would limit you and I think the GEM course is actually quite well organised, but if you're planning on working for the NHS at some point in the future there might be more suitable courses out there.
