Triple Science GCSE- does it matter?

Does it matter whether I take triple science at GCSE or not if I want to get in to an Oxbridge university? Can I get in if I have an 8 or a 9 for combined science?

My friend got into oxbridge maths with double science, many friends went to other too unis with double science in the science pathway

Triple science is useful if you are remotely interested in taking a science at A-level and beyond. Apart from that it’s not essential. Universities tend to focus on your A-level subjects.
