Have you ever gotten detention or been suspended?

I have never had detention, but I got suspended in middle school.

It still steams me to this day. A boy who was like 6'0 and very much bigger than me pushed me over, and I pushed him back. His head hit a countertop and one of his teeth got chipped. Not like I meant to do all that, it just happened. I reacted out of PTSD. Tbh I think the boy did it on purpose, you know how some people do that sh*t on purpose to like to sue and get money, I think that was the case because there was no way I was strong enough to do that much damage. This boy was like a foot taller than me and was probably 250 pounds. The boy got off because he was hurt and I wasn't. I got suspended for two weeks and the family thought about pressing charges, but I wrote an apology letter about how 'sorry' I was and hoped they could forgive me. Apparently, the dad wanted to, but the mom didn't. Stupid sh*t.

I got detentions a few times but never got suspended.
I notice schools suspends kids for silly things these days, that wouldn't have warranted a suspension when i was at school...

Detentions a fair few times, often for idiotic and trivial reasons

Loads of detentions.
No suspensions (though those were often due to a social worker mediating between me and whoever I was fighting and agreeing to not fight again or to take Isolation or in school all day detention)
One exclusion from 2nd school and I had to take my gcses in an alternative detention school for troubled kids. It wasn't living in.
Dropped out seeeeeeveral times, I repeated a couple years, finally went to uni thru clearing at 19 about to be 20. So yea.

Why did you fight?
Why did you fight?
My other fight in primary was with someone 2 years older than me, I fought him for taking my football, so I beat him up with a bat.

Basically just this kid that everyone was supposedly scared of, tried to torment me. Then I had to beat him up...

I had a detention on missing homework and then went on a streak of 20 months without missing another piece.
