Maintenance Loan

Hi. Do you have to live within a certain distance from uni to qualify for a full maintenance loan? I am thinking of commuting to manchester from Hertfordshire and would like to rent a house with my girlfriend down south but still travel up to manchester 2-3 times a week. I presume I will still be eligible for the Max loan because I won't be living with my parents but I'm just wondering if geographics have anything to do with it.
