Had an argument with a woman while walking

This woman demanded I cross the road and I said no it's not like I'm going to attack you and she then calls me a creep and says all men are the same the thing was a few yards i was turning off the road and crossing the road would have meant a bit further to walk, was I in the right to say no?

I don't know, was it for social distancing? Whatever the reason, she shouldn't have called you and all men creeps.
