Can I go on holiday?

PROVIDED EVERYTHING GOES AHEAD DUE TO COVID*
So my friends are going on holiday to Majorca in August I couldn’t go because I was going somewhere else the week they were meant to be going. My plans got cancelled and I’d like to go. We are trying to get me added onto the booking but it’s short notice.

If we can’t, is it possible for me to just buy the flight ticket and just stay on the sofa that’s in the room when we get there? Would the hotel ever know? It’s self catered so we won’t have wrist bands. I would just pay for a taxi with afew of my mates while the rest get a coach transfer.

Is this even possible or am I being daft lol
