Student accommodation southampton uni
Could someone give me a general run down of the student halls at Southampton Uni. I'll be on Highfield Campus. Don't need an ensuite, more interested in sociability and accessibility. Thanks

A 10-minute walk away from Highfield Campus is Wessex Lane (Montefiore Halls and Connaught Halls) which has a mix of catered and self-catered accommodation. As it is such a large site, there's always people around so lots of socialising!
The other recommendation would be Glen Eyre (5 minutes away), which has a wider range of types of room.
You also get a bus pass if you live in Halls which can get you literally anywhere within the city for free (Highfield Campus to the harbour in around 30 minutes).
Were there any specific Halls you've seen that you like the look of?

No, I came to an open day pre COVID and saw the department and thought I'd be able to visit again to see the accommodation but haven't had a chance
