context: this is for a psych report I'm doing and I did an experiment (unrelated t-test)
'the participants were independent of each condition'
I'm trying to say that the participants in my study only participated in one condition - is what I wrote above saying what I want to say? not sure if it makes sense

This would be the experimental design, in this case it is independent groups (others are repeated measures and matched pairs).
