Hi I just finished my 2nd year at uni and I passed all my second year modules. However in the first year I failed 1 module and was able to retake it this year but have failed again. Will I still be able to progress to my 3rd year if I failed a 1st year module.

Short answer is 'it depends'. At my place, you'd be withdrawn for twice failing a 1st year unit. Each institution and even department has different regs on this - get in touch with your academic advisor or department head.
