Failed a module resit in second year.

I have failed a module in second year and went onto fail again in the resit, but passed all my other modules. Can I ask my university to progress into 3rd year whilst retaking the failed second year module along side my 3rd year studies?
Most likely. I did this, but I had 'extenuating circumstances' i.e. COVID 'depression'

What uni are you in? I'm in the same circumstance, I failed a module exam and pretty sure I've failed the resit. I've emailed my module leader and just waiting for a response now, really hope there's a chance to trail the one module

Reading, i only failed one essay thats it.

There is some possibility. Generally if the unit is a core/compulsory one, they are more fussy about it - in my Dept a student failing a resit for a core/comp unit would not be allowed to progress unless there was significant mitigation at play.

I hasten to add that the Programme Director/exam board etc will notify you of your options.

I have a similar problem. Do you know when they would contact you?
