Liverpool

Hi, I'm really keen to study religious studies or theology and my dream university is Liverpool but I've seen that it is one of the few universities that doesn't offer that course... does anyone know why that is/ can recommend other good unis for that course?

Their Philosophy Dept already has a significant religious element in terms of Christianity (there is a Jonathan Edwards Research Centre, I've been to a few of their conferences), Buddhism, Hinduism. They also have religious specialists across loads of their schools and departments, as seen here. They tend to look at religion via the lens of different disciplines, which is unfortunate for you.

What are your predicteds? There are loads of good places to read theology, but you must be realistic about your prospects.
Bristol, Birmingham, Cardiff, Manchester, Durham, Winchester etc

Hi there,

I know the University of Liverpool doesn't offer this course, however if you really want to study in Liverpool I know another University, Liverpool Hope does offer this course. I'm not familiar with the course or University so I'm not sure on the relative quality of course though.
