Applying to unis during gap year

Hi! does anyone know if you can apply to universities through ucas during your gap year while still holding offers from the year before? Or do you have to give those up?

Clearing and Applications Advisor

You can’t make a new application through ucas while holding a deferred offer.

Before you withdraw from your deferred place you can ask them if they’ll reinstate your offer if you reapply during your gap year. Some universities will happily honour their previous offers if you reapply.
