Question about results day (a level)

Hi,
I was just wondering when ucas updates to say we've met the entry requirements for out firm uni choice? Like if the uni gets our results a week before results day, do they update ucas a week before too, so we know if we got into that uni a week before results day? Some people have said ucas only gets updated the morning of results day.

hi, yes ucas do receive results before results day so they can prepare an informed decision as to whether they confirm the offer or not. but we find out around 8-8:15 on results day, sometimes slightly later as thousands of people access ucas at the same time so it might be a bit slow👍

Read all of this carefully - the TSR Guide to Results Day - https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/results/a-level/guide-to-a-level-results-day
Unis process most results during the proceeding week. However UCAS Hub is frozen and does not update until results day morning.

UCAS goes dark from the Friday before Results Day so that Unis can process decisions without you seeing them. Do not try and contact them during this period - Unis are strictly forbidden from telling you anything before Results Day morning - that's when UCAS reopens and you'll get appropriate emails from your Unis, and when Clearing gets going.
It freezes until results day around early august
